The year 2000 marked some new changes for Hudson Shakespeare. Due to budget constraints and administrative changes, a long time HSC venue of the Jersey City Public Library became temporarily unusable. In this wake, all indoor shows were staged at OLC Victory Hall. On the more positive side, attention was shifted to using the space to its full potential. For the first time HSC mounted a full musical with The Fantasticks. This indoor offering was quickly followed by a double venturing with an untried playwright, Neil Simon with Laughter on the 23rd Floor and The Odd Couple. The outdoor season continued to expand with two new directors and titles The Tempest and Othello. Please click on the side links or the titles below for pictures and show information.
