Lysistrata Ellsworth Park, Union City, NJ July 29, 2004
The female chorus (Doriane Swain, Hannah Wolfe, and Chance Parker) introduce the play.
An irate Lysistrata (Andrea Biggs) is upset at her gender over its lack of taking serious stands. Gathering to try and ransom for peace, her point is proven by the socially and sexually obsessed Kleonike (Laura Malone).
An audience perspective of the play's opening scene.
The women of Athens and Sparta gather to hear how Lysistrata plans to bargain for peace.
The women become a bit upset after hearing about the secret ingredient in Lysistrata's plan - abstaining from sex with their men.
As the men of Athens try to take back the town fights ensue.
Another audience shot of the later half of the play.
