Also known as Fairmont Park, Memorial Park hugs the intersection of Main St. & Temple Ave in the heart of Hackensack. The park features a distinctive memorial to 5 local fire fighters who perished in the line of duty on July 1, 1988. 5 concrete obelisk style pillars flank around a center plaque, which details their heroic sacrifice. In like fashion, a smaller memorial to loved ones of September 11 is located just off of the main memorial. In 2003, HSC's presented its August production of Titus Andronicus. The performance area is in front of the center memorial, near the corner of Main St. and Temple Ave. See below for driving and parking directions and other park information.
