Nestled in the northern section of Hackensack, near NJ Route 4 at the dead end of Coles Ave., this scenic park seems far removed from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. Located in a quiet and nature filled setting, the Staib Park features newly constructed hiking routes, a baseball field and idyllic summer picnic grounds. The park was dedicated in 1947 in honor of William C. Staib, a local citizen who dedicated himself to the youth of the city. A commemoration plaque (second picture) marked the occasion. See below for driving and parking directions and other park information.
